How can a person know they are going to heaven when they die (without a shadow of a doubt)?

Question

Alot of you did not answer my previous question, with any justification, so I now ask this question, because religion, is a way you spend your life, and being in heaven (a positive place you spend your eternal life) does not necessarily require any religion at all. Again, please no hate answers, just detailed plans, that others can follow.

Some of you have given detailed answers, but most, do not a a recipe, that others can follow, can some of you please give me the "recipe" to get to heaven. Not an arguement of why you cant get there.

i don't think any body can really know for sure if they are going to heaven without a shadow of a doubt. that is up to the most high whoever your most high is. but faith does play a big part in it. if you think of heaven and hell and about your death and get to worried or to scared it can either mean you don't really care or that you are not right in your own life and with God or your most high. if your concern is are you going to heaven or hell think about your life and see how you feel. if you don't like how you feel fix your life. another thing is i believe if you die before the age of 7 you without a doubt go to heaven cuz you haven't been here long enough to know about God or not old enough to comprehend it. Sorry if i went of track but you can email me with anything if you wish and hopefully i answered some of your question.

There is no heaven. There is no afterlife. It is wishful thinking that you will go anywhere after you die. So, there is no recipe you can follow to make sure it happens.

However, there is nothing to stop you leading a useful, thoughtful, kind and helpful life and making a contribution to your family, your country and mankind. You will then have the best form of "afterlife" when you live on in the thoughts of those you leave behind and in the record of your good deeds.

If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, rose from the dead and is coming again - then you'll be in Heaven. Knowing who you are (your inheritance from God) and where you're ultimately headed (Heaven) can relieve you from a lot of questions and pain. Spend time talking to God - you'll learn that you're right. Religion has absolutely nothing to do with going to Heaven. It's the relationship between you and God and that's personal to only you and Him.

The only way to know without a shadow of a doubt is to believe what the Bible says through faith. It says that God sent Christ as a substitute, because we are sinful beings who by nature deserve hell and death. Christ took the punishment in our place because he loves us and it's not his will that we should go to hell. If we accept that and live it out, we can know we're going to heaven. Look at all the people who have died because they believed this so strongly. It is possible to know. They did. I do. :)

The fact is nobody knows, you can say faith... but, faith is a BELIEF
There is no way of ever REALLY knowing if you are going to heaven or hell, OR even if the two even exist.

No one knows without a shadow of a doubt, whether or not they are going to Heaven when they die - and anyone that says differently is a liar.

Only God knows for sure which of us are getting in, and which ones of us will not. To be sure, there are more than a few of my fellow Christians that will be very shocked to see who is there, and who isn't.

no one knows for sure if they are going to heaven or not, because no one knows what the real sins are anymore. some people that help others and do good in the world, say they know that they are going to heaven because they never sined. But most people think(like me) that they did do something bad in their live but not like killing some one, just some thing like doing some thing bad and feeling so bad about it that you think you would go to hell for it. Like in one time of your life you think that their isn't a god and when you think that their is, you look back at time you did think their wasn't a god and feel bad about it, and than you think you would good to hell. the thing is people that think they are going to hell just feel bad about stuff they did and people that don;t , don't feel bad about any thing they did or never did any thing bad. no one knows for sure were their are going, it's just how they feel about them selfs and what they think was a sin that they did.

To believe in heaven, you must believe in the afterlife. To believe that there is an afterlife, you must believe that there is something that is higher than you that controls the passage into that afterlife. Many religions have ways into heaven, from self-sacrifice, to good living, to self denial. However, all these ways are faulty - they are based upon the works of you, a person who is not perfect.

God created a world that was perfect, in the beginning, but his creation disobeyed him. They chose to accept evil into their lives, and therefore evil now is in this world.

When Jesus Christ, who Christians believe to be in God in the Flesh, came to this earth, he preached, "I only do what the Father tells me to do." He also said, "I only have the power that God gives me." He said, "If you know me and my truth, then you know God," and he taught "I am the only way into heaven."

You are correct in your thinking that there is doubt in people's mind's about heaven. We want to know HOW to get there, because we know that we are not good enough or perfect enough in some area of our lives. So it doesn't make sense that we would be able to perfect ourselves through self-denial, sacrifice, or any amount of good works, because in the end, we still face the same problem...in our deepest of hearts, we still are separated from our creator because evil is still in the world, and it surrounds us.

The only way into heaven is to accept that we cannot escape this evil, but rather accept that Jesus Christ, the son of God and God in the flesh, is our only road into heaven. Because he did not have man's blood flowing through his veins (The bible says that the Holy Spirit created sperm which impregnated Mary, thus his father was God, and not man), he had no evil in him. He is, undoubtedly, the only path to heaven that is not tainted with evil.

Faith! Jesus said to have faith like a child, a pure and simple faith that never fails. To get to Heaven, you must BELIEVE!!! Believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ!! Believe that Jesus died for YOU!! Believe in God's everlasting love for YOU!! Do you believe???? Do you believe that only through Jesus Christ can you get to Heaven?? The Bible says, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Light, no one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6. So ONLY through trusting in Jesus Christ can you become a Christian.

You have to admit that you are a sinner. Everyone is, because of our sin nature. When Adam and Eve first disobeyed God, they let sin into the world. And every human being who ever lived, lives now, and ever will live is a sinner. Proven fact, the only human to not sin is Jesus Christ, He lived for 30 years serving God, and never commited a single sin!!! Amazing! So by admitting that you are a sinner makes you one step closer to God!!!! Do you know and admit that you are a sinner???

Repent, turn from your sins. This is one of the harder steps. Sin is in our nature, and alone we cannot conquer it. But with God, anything is possible, and so is growing in our faith and repenting from our sins. Ask God to bring some Christian friends into your life to help influence you and ask Him to help you find a church that does what is right in the eyes of the Lord. This can help you with your struggle with sin that will follow you throughout life. Are you up to the challenge to repent?

The next step is to ask God to come into your life and take over. Accept Christ and know that He loves you, no matter what. Ask God to help you to follow Him. Pray that special prayer, asking God to take control. Make God the priority in your life. In everything you do, try to honor God. Let all the glory go to God!!! God is a friend who will never fail, that someone who can always be counted on, no matter what! When all is feeling awful, God will be there. God made you in His own image, and He loves YOU so much more than words can describe and so much more than what our human minds can comprehend. It's an undying love! I'm having such a hard time telling you how much God loves you and how much He wants to spend eternity with you! He loves YOU! He loves YOU!!! Have faith!!!

You don't get to Heaven by works, meaning you don't get to Heaven by going to Church every Sunday and reading the Bible. You do those things because you love God and want to get to know Him more, but that is not what gets you to Heaven. It is by faith and accepting the invitation that God has been offering you your whole life.
