Not really. First, most of the "prophets" are made up characters. None of them are really a mercy on mankind.
When I think of all the violence, hypocrisy, resistance to scientific progress, bigotry, coercion, and chauvinism done as a result of superstitious individual's hallucinations, I tend to think we would have been much better off without them.

The Prophet was a petty war lord who created Islam out of thin air in order to united nomadic tribes into an army and use that to conquer. In that respect he did not too badly but to think of it as God's work is to totally ignore the development of "God" though out the Judo-Christian Books that he bases the Koran on. It is clear that by the time the books of the Bible end "God" has "become" merciful. There is no mercy in the made up works of the prophet

Mohommed wasn't very merciful. He killed people by the thousands and his men raped a lot of women. According to the Hadith, Mohommed was a pedophile. He married a nine-year-old girl named Aisha. To be fair, there is some doubt as to whether that's actually true or not, but it's pretty well established that he had multiple wives and Muslims are allowed to have more than one today as well. I worked with a lady who was married to one. She was raised a Catholic. She acknowledged that her husband could take another wife if he wanted to but said she wasn't worried because he would still be obligated to take care of her financially as well.

No i dont believe it is the Muslim's responsibilty to do so, but, just like most religions they want the message to continue from generation to generation but the truth of the matter is corruption and greed has interfered with most people's spiritual walk. Therefore the message gets distorted and the blind stays blind.

Yes, of course, that's why they are going to cut your head off while wearing masks and shouting Allah Ahkbar.
Wait...you are safe because you are a Muslim...right?
Guess not...they are busy killing each other in Iraq right now.

No, Hun, you are deceived.
God, in the person of Jesus, left that great commission to His followers.
You know who they are....
You call us Christians.
