YES, e85 is very corrosive and will destroy the complete fuel system and hoses on a non e85 vehicle.

Add to the good answers below if the tank was empty and E-85 was filled older low compression engine might not start. Some modern cars with 10 to 1 compression might start but they will be very underpowered (lean) because it takes about 20% more Ethanol to burn properly.
