Okay I had my wisdom's removed about 10 years ago, and I looked like a chipmunk for about a week, so it's totally normal. Now if it doesnt go down or the pain is worse after a few days, I would notify your doctor right away. But dont worry, your gonna look a little wierd for a while. Use it as an excuse to lay in bed all day and eat jello and ice cream ;)

Use only cold in the first 24 hours. Then switch to warmth. Like a warm towel or heating pad. Elevating your head with pillows while sleeping or laying down helps too. Mines peaked at day 3 or 4 and went down from there. Took 4 out a month ago. Good luck!

Hey! The number one way to reduce any swellin is by using ice.. if you can stand it and your teeth are too sensitive try sucking on ice often. Other than that, just hang in there. I know its tough, but it will get better. Swelling is jus the bodies natural way of coping and Im sure it will go down ALOT in a couple of days! I might have to get my wisdom teeth removed too... :(
I hope this helps, and take care! :)

I just went through the same thing last month, not much you can do where it's been so long ago, would've been better to put ice on it yesterday, the swelling will go down in a few days.

HELLO,
SWELLING IS TO BE EXPECTED AFTER A TRAUMATIC EXTRACTION. THE COLD WILL ONLY BE EFFECTIVE THE FIRST 24 HOURS. THIS MEANS A BAG WITH WATER AND ICE NOT PURE ICE.
AFTER THE 24 HOURS A WARM MOIST TOWEL AND IBUPROFEN ARE THE WAY TO GO.
THE TISSUE ARE INFLAMED AND THE COLD BECOMES USELESS. IBUPROFEN IS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, AND THE WARM MOIST TOWEL WILL HELP TO CLEAR THE SWELLING OF THE LYMPHATIC FLUID WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SWELLING.
