hi, a while ago i used to have some sort of speeding up program that i found on google. It was either a trial or freeware. After i had used it on my computer and restarted, as soon as i logged in it loaded up instantly and i could use it straight away without waiting a minute. Anyone know of such program? I didnt have any program loading up anyway but it loaded up instantly instead of like 20 secs.

Maybe you are just overloading RAM and are loading some unnecessary programs. Run through this checklist to see if it helps:
Overloading Memory (RAM)
- set wallpaper and screensavers to blank or none — they run continuously in the background and use memory.
- review your start menu – remove anything you don’t need on a daily basis — load games, etc. on an as-needed basis.
- from Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options: delete cookies, delete files (offline), and clear history.
- run Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, Defrag at least every two weeks (the more frequently they are run, the less time they take).
- periodically, click Start, Programs, Run — they type ipconfig renew
(that’s ipconfig space renew).
These things should increase speed and free up memory as much as possible.
It will also help if you download two free programs: Ad-aware and Spybot.

apps to do this i do not know, as i just manually edit the startup files to do this on my own...if you would like you can do the same by opening msconfig thru the start and run cmd
