In the bible when it talks of fearing God, it is talking about revering Him, respecting Him. Yes, I fear God and I love Him.

I dont not fear God for he is kind, gentle, and understanding.
And...Stockholm syndrome is specifically becoming or showing loyalty to a capture. I dont think God holds us captive.
