Wouldnt that be like Stockholm syndrome???

In the bible when it talks of fearing God, it is talking about revering Him, respecting Him. Yes, I fear God and I love Him.

I dont not fear God for he is kind, gentle, and understanding.
And...Stockholm syndrome is specifically becoming or showing loyalty to a capture. I dont think God holds us captive.

Forgive me for not siting passages, but the bible says that you should fear god. Oh, and it also says god loves you. And then it says there is no fear in love.
