I think we should not "vex a stranger in our midst" because we should remember that we were all strangers and foreigners in the land at one time. God repeatedly told the Israelites how to treat immigrants. We should do the same as He taught them. We should treat immigrants as one born in our midst. That is bible. I don't' care about their legal status. They should be treated with respect and just as we would treat any one else.

I think it's time that wall between the US and Mexico went up.

Illegal immigrants are just that...here illegally. They should have NO rights....

If someone loves a country enough to want to become a citizen...there are LEGAL steps one can take to achieve that goal.

Oh, yes, I completely support it! I love it when people come into this country, demand jobs, and take advantage of my tax dollars yet don't pay any taxes of their own!

At first, I didn't see the big deal. Illegal immigrants, they're not hurting anyone, so who cares? Then I see some of the crap they're pulling. Like having children on American soil just to be a citizen. It's also very demeaning to those who work hard to gain their citizenship, while others just walk into the country. And, to be honest, it irks me that I have to pay taxes and they don't.

HOWEVER. I fully support those who work hard to gain their citizenship.

No, but my taxes go to pay for their public education, which my children are not eligible for because we are not migrants and speak English as our first language. And everytime someone gets hurt in crossing, my taxes support the hospital they are taken to. Also, it is allowable for people to call the ambulance FROM Mexico and they will come get you over there, regardless of citizienship. So no, I don't like it, but I guess in a way, I am supporting it.

Yes, Allah (GOD) states, "This earth is spacious and full of mercy and glory for mankind." As long as a person is willing to work and not break the laws Al-hamdullilah (Praise Be to Allah).

Technically, were the immigrants.

there should be no borders...the earth belongs to all men..and a man should only receive here what he has worked for and the sick and elderly should be taken care of by their families and their church communities...In a perfect world!!! you should all realize that men/ man means "mankind" in this post.

No, I think it should be a felony (no jail for the first offense, just deportation).
