I am scared to get my ears pierced! Does it hurt?

nope its just a little sting...... it only takes a second to have your ears pierced they do both ears at the same time all it is, is a loud bang a little pinch then your ears go numb.

Getting your ears pierced donesn't hurt that much. I am the type of person who can't stand pain at all. When I have to get a shot I get all worried about it for days before I have to go, and the dentist... forget that I hate all the pain they cause me. So when I got my ears periced I was really nervous but I wanted to do it sooo bad. I finally worked up the courage to do it and guess what it didnt hurt. It feels like a tiny pinch and then it's over. They do feel a little weird for a little while right after it's done but trst me it's totally worht it. I can't go a day without wearing earings. Be brave!

i can't exactly say from experience cuz i got it when i was a baby.

but not so long ago we took my little sister to icing by claires and got her ears pierced. she was only 5 then i think. let's just say my sister would cry even if she just tripped over her own feet. so i was teasing her (hey sisters do it all the time) and telling her she'd make a big baby of herself by crying in front of eveyrone and told her it would her alot.

and then when we went there my mom requested that two people pierce her ears at the same time, not one by eone. and they pierced her ears and she only winced. we all expected her to start crying or something but she didn't say anything!

yeah.

so moral of the story is, it's only a pinching feeling and you should ask for two people to pierce both ears at the exact same time.

omg ... okay i thought the same thing when i was getting my ears pierced ... it pinches really quickly (which doesn't hurt that bad) and then it kinda burns after ... but it isn't as bad as it seems ... dont worry about it!
also, most doctors' offices can pierce your ears for u and it is a lot cleaner then a cheap place at the mall or sumthin

my whole childhood my parents wouldn't let me pierce my ears, they kept warning it would hurt way too much and i'd be in pain. when i turned 18 i got them done, and the actual piercing itself did not hurt at all! the only thing i warn you about is after...because i felt more pain a few days after the piercing (since the body is getting used to a new hole in the body) because it could easily get infected. but once you get your ears pierced, its great to wear earrings! =D

When I got mine pierced, I made sure they didn't tell me when they were going to do it so it didn't hurt as much since I wasn't really focused on them piercing a hole in my ear.

Nah it feels like a mosquito bite with the gun, but with cartilage it'll hurt after the ear is pierced. Well I hope you enjoy your new earrings!

When it's actually being done, it's not all that painful. Your earlobes get kind of sore afterwards though. Make sure you clean them as often as the piercer tells you too, or else you'll get a nasty infection which will make your ear feel like you've been punched! I waited until I was 18 to get mine done, because I was kind of afraid of the pain, but if you want them done, go for it! It's a short-lived pain. You'll see, it's not that bad! :)

i only have my ears done, no other body part. i have 2 on each ear. believe me getting a shot is worse. it's like a sharp pinch. i don't even blink! i got my first one when i was a baby. and last year i got my second one (when i was 12, now i'm 13). don't worry AT ALL! believe me ignore the girl above me. it's not bad at all!

It depends what part of your ear. Cartilage definitely hurts. earlobes it kind of feels like a pinch and then a burning sensation. You can do it get it done!
