No, they took deities from Pagan myths and changed the names and symbols.

Back when? Did I somehow miss the first part of your question?
We don't need a new God; ours is doing just fine, thanks for asking.
But I suppose inventing another one would be one possible solution to that impossible premise. In fact, it might be a better approach for those who cling to Darwinian evolution to consider; they are fiercely clinging to that sad myth, all the while praying to the great Science God to deliver them from that sinking ship with something more credible.

"In Truth", the followers of Jesus (PBUH), were very frightened. Many turned away from the teachings. Only a very small handful with full knowledge of the teachings exist today.
Many will dispute history and the things that have been passed down for centuries. This is understandable because of a thing called time.
The teachings are available today if one diligently researches, and has great patience. This is not a task for the foolhardy.
Patience within man in these times is not his best virtue.
I'm not Christian, yet I can tell you this, the return of Jesus (PBUH) is imminent. The return will be sooner not later!
Good Hunting............

Unless you have a time machine and know something about the next thousand years that the rest of us don't, then your 'question' is presumptuous at best. God and the Christian church have never faded into oblivion and show no signs of doing so any time soon.
That's because our Lord Jesus is very much alive and well, and He will care for His Church and His people.

LOL!
I am sure that you have heard the truth of God's love, Jesus works/teachings/sacrifice, and what it can mean for you. You are responsible for every decision you make in your life.
The Lord does truly love you, but if you don't love him, then it follows that you don't want to spend eternity in his presence.
Choose carefully.
Namaste.

Hard to say, since it has been around for at least a few thousand years, it will probably stick around long after your gone.
