If we are talking about a military matter and you are a civilian you it probably is not any of your business. In this day and age where information flows around the world faster than a F-14 we need to stop as much out flow as possible. The saying "loose lips sink ships" is more appropriate now than ever before. Even the tiniest bit of logisticall information could be used to determin troop movements or other operations and endanger our personnel. All information is pretty much For official use only. If you are not directly involved it is legally not your business.

First off get a job for a few years that puts your life at risk for others lives and safety, and then ask that question again. Being born in the USA, having an American parent, ot becoming naturalized isn't the end all of being an American. Neither is paying taxes. You sound like an egg-sucking liberal.

well this is surely a comment regardless if it is in response to a previous question..........all you was told was that the actual figures for the injured is not actually clear, when you are asking the question of "how many die from their injuries" and in some ways whilst YOU might feel it was a smart *** response you have YET to clarify WHY you need this info. , is it for a paper or just to see if the government fudges the numbers. Personally dont see why you would need that info

Heck, don't be offended. Much of what happens in the military during time of war is on a 'need to know' basis. Basically, it's none of your business. Don't ruffle your feathers over it. You'll hear plenty from the media - skewed as it may be.

It all depends if it is a matter of national security or not.
You could not expect them to just give you anything you want to know.
Oh the nuclear sub plans, Sure here ya go, will you need a copy to take with you?
You can see why there is the need to know policy.

As an Army wife, we don't even get to know every little thing that goes on with our soldiers or anything else , so that goes to tell you that you don't need to know everything that goes on in the military.

You don't need to know everything....That is why we have TOP SECRET stuff. We don't need the enemy knowing everything.. Loose Lips Sink Ships.
Besides, what does it matter to you?? You aren't fighting the war..you are safe at home, because of our wonderful Military and President
