Perhaps. Perhaps not. What is the Truth? What if one's person's idea of truth is different than the others?
What if you actually start arguing about the truth? Over your perception of it?
hmmmmm

Because "truth" is a very relative and changing term. One man's truth is another man's lies and a third man's heresy. There's only one Absolute Truth that I've discovered in my time on this earth and that is that everything changes. But that implies that my "Absolute Truth" will also change. On that basis there is no Absolute Truth. But if there's no Absolute Truth than there is no Truth at all. Can you see why, in an earlier post, I said that being a believer is easier than being a seeker or a person attempting to think in a rational and critical manner?

It works the same. Once the atheist finds truth, the atheist is liberated. Likewise, once a believer finds truth, the believer is liberated. Believing or not believing is not what sets you free. TRUTH sets you free. Many believers have not yet found the truth.

The atheist has been set free by the truth. Its called thinking for your self.

The believer puts his mind in the hands of people selling mythology, and is therefore their slave.

Yes it does.

It works in all forms like when you tell a lie. You have to cover that lie up with a lie then another.
When the truth finally surfaces you don't have to lie anymore. Therefore you are free.

Because Jesus is the truth, the life and the way. Atheists refuse to believe that.

Unless, you find out you are adopted at your 21st birthday party. And the person to tell you was your drunk and belligerent grandmother that never liked you in the first place.
