It took me just one week to see results from Proactiv.
I think it mostly depends on your skin and age. I was using Retin-A prior to using Proactiv. I stopped using Retin-A one year before switching to Proactiv.
If you are going to get it I suggest going through QVC. Great return policy and they ship much faster.
As a side note it took my brother around 3 weeks to start seeing results and 4 months to have a clear face.
My derm told me that the time frame for clear skin or less blemished skin will vary on the years you have had acne. For example a long time suffer could not see clear skin for years. In my case I tried to fight acne for 17 years now and am finally almost to the stage of clear skin. It takes time patience and the willingness to notice if your skin is no longer reacting to a product. Purging is often mistaken for a product making your skin worse. Purging is your skin getting rid of all the underlining problems. Purging can last up to 6 months for some people.

I never have, but a girl that I know uses the knock off brand that Walgreens carries and she likes it better. She used Pro Active, and said it worked good, but likes this stuff better, and it's a ton cheaper!! Sorry, don't know the name of it, but I think it might say something like, "compare with Pro Active" on the bottle...

Since I only have a little bit of blackheads on my nose I saw results in only a few days, but I stopped using it because having not much acne can be bad because Proactive is really strong.

well i saw results in 2-4 weeks but then i started to get my acne back ... it's a waste of money ... basically a trick because you will see results but once your skin has gotten used to the ingredients your skin will go back to the way it was ... try Nature's Cure 2 part acne treatment! it includes oral pills and a cream ... it's onyl 10 dollars for a months supply ... it's natural so no harm in trying ... and it works!

I started seeing change on about the second week but it never really tremendously got better until the third or fouth or maybe even the fifth week, but i still use it and it hasnt fully went away. My cousin had a bad case of acne and his is still really bad even after like two months so i think it depends on how bad you have acne.
Good Luck

Within 2 days my skin was smoother and the pimples started going away. It's been 2 months now and I don't break out at all unless I forget to use it. It's one of those things you have to use faithfully everyday to keep the pimples from coming back.
