I have a report to do in religion about the 6 things the lord hates.
I don't understand them all, I'm not religious at all.
You can find them in Proverbs 6:16-19

Do you mind explaining them all to me?
I need to do a paragraph on each of them, but first of all, I need to understand it.

Uh, yes.
You're saying God doesn't hate it when you sin?
Dumbos.
I wish people were smart enough to read the description.

A proud look. When a person thinks too much of thereself and they have that look about, that says I'm just better than you.
A lying tongue. Lying.
Hands that shed innocent blood. Murder.
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations. When someone thinks up wicked things.
Feet that be swift in running to mischief. When someone is always looking for trouble to get into.
A false witness that speaketh lies. When someone says something untrue to get someone in trouble.
He that soweth discord among brethren. When someone tries to get people to argue and fight or to not like each other.

. This list is known as the “seven deadly sins.” Is the idea of “seven deadly sins” Biblical? Yes and no. Proverbs 6:16-19 declares: “There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: (1) haughty eyes, (2) a lying tongue, (3) hands that shed innocent blood, (4) a heart that devises wicked schemes, (5) feet that are quick to rush into evil, (6) a false witness who pours out lies, and (7) a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.”

The Lord hating something means just what it says. The Hebrew word (sane) also means to be unwilling, so I guess it means He's unwilling to tolerate it (?). An abomination is when God has told people to do some legitimate thing a certain way and they choose to do it another way. For example, God told the Israelites they could sacrifice certain animals to Him, but certain others were off limits. Later on, some of them sacrificed ibex and some other "unclean" animal, and God called that an abomination.

1) A Proud Look- This means God hates someone who is hughty and proud, you know, thinks there better then everyone. God hates this becasue he made all of us equall no one is above the other. We have no right to boast about ourselves because it's all because of God, it's nothing we do.
2) A lying Toung- This ones pretty simple, God hates it when we lie But who doesn't for that matter.
3)Hands that shed inocent blood- This means that God hates it when someone is murdered. He isn't against killing you say if you commited a crime worthy of the death penalty. But unneeded bloodshead is wrong.
4)A heart that devises wicked plans- this one means that God hates it when people think of wicked things, and plan things that are evil. Even if they don't do it. Planing it is sin as well.
5) a False Witness- God hates it when someone testifies falsley. So blaming someone that didn't do it, or lying in court.
6)Feet that swift in running to evil.- This means God hates it when someone is quick to do something they know is wrong.
I hope this helped

"Haughty eyes"

The dictionary defines "haughty" as, "blatantly and disdainfully proud". This is someone who is caught up in self, therefore, they are not likely to submit to God. Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." (Matt. 16:24)

"A lying tongue"

God wants us to be truthful. "Thou shalt not lie" is one of the 10 Commandments and this is repeated many times through the Bible.

"Hands that shed innocent blood"

This is murder. (I believe this also applies to abortion. What blood is more innocent than a baby?)

"A heart that devises wicked plans"

God wants us to strive to do Good, but some people seem to be looking for what they can get into that is evil. A drunk goes looking for more drinks. A sexually immoral person looks for opportunities to have an affair ("one night stands", hookers, etc.) We should try to find opportunity to do good instead of seeking that which is evil.

"Feet that run rapidly to evil"

Similar to the one before, this is a person who is anxious to do that which is wrong.

"False witness who utters lies"

This is a person who says false things about others.

"One who spreads strife among brothers."

This person causes others to be divided. This type of person may cause division in the church. On the other hand Jesus prayed that we should have unity (John 17:20-21) and Paul pleaded for it (1 Cor. 1:10-13).

Many of the same traits can be seen listed among the "works of the flesh" in Galatians 5: 19-21. Instead we should have the "fruit of the Spirit", listed in verses 22 - 23.

16 There are six things that Jehovah does hate; yes, seven are things detestable to his soul: 17 lofty eyes, a false tongue, and hands that are shedding innocent blood, 18 a heart fabricating hurtful schemes, feet that are in a hurry to run to badness, 19 a false witness that launches forth lies, and anyone sending forth contentions among brothers.

Lofty eyes-Haughtiness
False tongue-Liar
Hands that shed innocent blood-Murders
A heart fabricating hurtful schemes-Someone who deliberately schemes to cause hurt to another person i.e. internet predators.
Feet that are in a hurry to run to badness-Anyone who would do what they know is wrong in God's eyes and would do it without compunction.
A false witness that launches forth lies-Anyone who would use propaganda would be in this category.
Any one causing contentions among his brothers-trouble makers

You notice that liars in all of their forms are mentioned here.
Hope this helps.

How on earth could the 'lord,' meaning your god I guess, hate anything? He, it, or she doesn't exist. Better that you ask about the 6534 things Christians hate between breakfast and lunch.
