It's a great thing to serve your country. Just about everyone does it in they're own way. But the people who put their lives on the line and sacrifice everything for our safety and the safety of our country and values are the real heroes. It's definately something to be proud of and we should honor them everyday for it.

the army is a large thank you to kick start up your person existence - yet given which you're happy with being separated out of your loved ones for prolonged sessions of time. whilst my hubby joined, we've been residing in a city the place jobs have been scarce, and we the two drove over an hour a million thank you to get to a worthwhile interest. the army presented an excellent incentive for him to connect, yet basically because of the fact he had 3 years of school and scored very severe on the get entry to/placement examination. He served 6 years energetic accountability, and is now interior the Reserves. The G.I. invoice is identifying to purchase his Masters and part of his Doctorate ranges, and for that we are very grateful. Out of the 6 years he became into in, we've been separated on and rancid for 3. it incredibly is complicated, yet whilst it incredibly is the only way you could extra your education I say choose for it. My father retired after 23 years, then went on the retire from a Federal interest after two decades -- the understanding and advantages you earn are incredibly helpful! as a techniques because of the fact the assertion made above approximately welfare funds, my husband became into an E-6 and made $30,000+ according to 365 days. i assume it incredibly is all relative. From the military side, the guys and gals have to be proud of the service they're in and of the unit they are assigned to. It about morale and feeling that you're making a difference. Would you rather have an aircraft maintainer who could care less about his job or one that thinks he and his buddies are the best fuel cell techs around? The loser will do the minimum, the one with pride will do his finest and go above and beyond to make his repair job the best ever!
As for me... I'm proud of each and every one of them, regardless of which uniform they wear! They are busting their fannies to do the job they have been given to do!

Yes....I've been in 19 years and was in NYC during 9/11 and worked Hurricane Katrina. When people come up to you and say thank you for protecting us and helping us, it gives me a lot of pride that I am serving my country and that people respect me.

Yes yes and hell yes! If we didn't have the military, you'd be sticking your butt in the air praying to a fake god called allah five times a day right about now.

The simple answer is yes.
I don't feel the need to explain why. Personally I feel anyone who needs to ask wouldn't understand anyway.
