No, when you do a full system recovery everything gets deleted from the hard drive so there is no way of getting it back.

When you run a recovery on the hard drive you reformat it and this removes what is on it completely. Then you reload the operating system and device drivers to get the pc in condition like it was new. After that you load whatever application software you want (e.g. word processing, spread sheet, etc).

The data files (e.g. pictures, word processing documents, e mail, etc) are removed in the recovery process and cannot be reloaded.

You run a recovery because the system has failed to operate. It is a drastic step and taken only because you have no other option.

In light of this, there is no software that can recover lost files because the files are cleaned off in the recovery process.

There are times when you can recover data from a hard drive that is misbehaving. You remove the old drive, install a brand new one, install the operating system, drivers, etc. Then you install the old drive as a second (slave) drive and boot from the new. If you are lucky you can use Windows Explorer and transfer data files from old to new hard drive. You are not booting from old drive so if the drive still spins it may work for you.

Norton has a product that works to restore files, but it isn't always reliable. It works best if it was running prior to the files being deleted or over written.

Smartsoft has a better piece of software called "Smart Undelete" and it has been a good tool to help me fix the same type of issues for my mom as she recently tried to "fix her computer" by preforming a full system recovery.
