There's no single answer to this question, it will depend a good deal on where you are in Canada, the young lady in Vancouver may differ in her attitude than someone in Toronto.
Treat them properly and courteously and you'll find out for yourself. They don't all think alike because of the country they live in.

I'm going to say yes, and point to a few things:

And legalised gay marriage, and sex education in schools not being a controversial issue, and banning books (&c) being something of a rarity here compared to the US. And, less prudity over nudity (which see right of women to go topless, at least in Ontario).

Yes and no. The girls seem to be more casual about it (thank you very much), but the society in general doesn't seem to be. They actually seem even more up tight which is surprising.

I think so. For one thing, gay marriage is legal here.
