I already asked a question telling you guys how to stop it. But here's another reason why:

As all of Europe are heated by the North Atlantic Drift, their fine right? WRONG! If enough ice breaks off of Greenland because of global warming, it could disrupt the North Atlantic Drift and send EUROPE INTO AN ICE AGE!!! It may be ironic but it is totally true. Now here's my question again: WHO'S READY TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING? Feel free to speculate.

It's hardly arrogant. We stopped slavery. We stopped racism. We stopped a German Europe. WHY CAN'T WE STOP THIS THEN? WHY CAN'T YOU BE AS ACTIVE ABOUT THIS AS YOU ARE ABOUT IRAQ?

Another Update: If you want cost reparations, mail the government! Get your community involved! Set up protests! We need a voice in this. Clearly this is working, as George Bush is beginning to talk about Global Warming, even though he's not doing anything about it and if it's only to increase his public image. Again: Get your community involved!

I do my best to do my part, unfortunately it becomes a financial matter. It often costs more to buy organic, or use alternative energy sources.

What I would like, is to be given significant or at least immediate cost reparations for going 'green'.

If I was to install solar panels, or buy a Hybrid vehicle, I would have to make a large investment ( That I don't personally have), and would receive some federal benefits after the purchases.

It would really be nice to have the government encourage (not with talk, but with rebates or reduced costs) greener living.

i think that we are definitely contributing to the ruination of the earth by not conserving energy & polluting the air, and we can do our best to improve, on a personal level, and i'm sure that the more people who try to help, the slower the process will be in regards to global warming, however i don't think that it's possible to reverse it because it is so far beyond "fixing" no matter how many people try. it will have to be a global effort, and we know that's not going to happen. the good thing is that the Bible talks about a hope for the future, the earth being a paradise (Psalm chapter 37 & Revelation 21:3,4 are good scriptures to read) and it also talks about destroying those ruining the earth (Revelation 11:18). so, it will get taken care of, it simply won't be possible by humans.

Who's ready to stop these unequal days and nights? Is it just me or is the sun out longer every day, now? I mean, tonight, the sun was out until 8 o'clock or later. I remember just a few months ago, the sun was setting, like 5:30 or so. At this rate it will be daylight around the clock! Help!! I don' t think I could take a day without night! This is a disaster!

We have to do something, now! I mean, if we can finally send Paris Hilton to jail, then we can surely solve this problem. All you skeptics care more about Paris Hilton and these shorter nights while Earth is going to hell in a handbasket. Conserve our darkness now. Turn off all of your lights now! Memorize where everything is during the day, so that you can make it thru the night without turning om the lights and wasting perfectly good darkness!

What are you going to do when July 4th rolls around and you'll be setting fireworks off during daylight? PEOPLE!! Do something, NOW!! PLEEEEEEASE!!

I'm ready, and doing my part, but to stop the real threat, we must stop making cars a neccessity. We could build more grocery stores, add to our food delivery routes, get the food closer to the people. Is it better to have a few more trucks deliver food or thousands of cars going to get it. We could change the zoning and insurance laws to allow and encourage people to live closer to work. Of coarse, we don't have to. We are free. We can drive these skies into collapps if we want, right? It's not all (where are the politicians leading us), it's also (where do you want to be lead)
If you don't want to give up the over-use of the mechanical abilities, then you have no right to mourne the loss of life in Iraq. I'm sick of seeing all the fatal car crashes on the news. It's unneccessary. Freedom has been perverted and we are destroying our unalienable right to life allong with this planet.

Right, the ice breaking off Greenland in the 1200s probably gave rise to the LIA, it's a cycle.

Retro, we CAN adjust the earth's rotation, don't you know that? Karl Rove and Diebold have this machine, it causes hurricanes, it causes warming on Mars, and it causes the earth to change its orbit.

Mike we're the ones holding the anti-slavery mantle - we're for freedom. You're for more control.

I give you the screen name of one of your fans "control" -

There is more than one cause of global warming. The cause that's most talked about is the creation of greenhouses gases by buring oil and coal. However, we also know that the temperature of Mars is increasing, and that's definitely not caused by man. We might be able to stop global warming caused by man, be won't be able to stop that caused by nature. At best, we can slow it down a little. Buy lots of sunblock!

We can't ignore Climate Change, it is clearly happening. The question is not should we do something, but what should we do. Hopefully, we can act quickly enough to greatly prolong the major effects of Climate Change.

Exactly. Iraq is ONE country, we should be concerned about the ENTIRE WORLD and GLOBAL WARMING. I don't get some people anymore. I do my part, ride my bike and hunt my own food.

How arrogant to think people can affect the climate. You'd have better luck reversing the Earth's rotation.
