When I look at history, I see a human race that didnt need to concentrate on common values but specifically concentrated on their religion or race to unite themselves.

why is it a need now do you think?

is it because theres less tolerance towards people of different faiths?

I think that if we focus on similar values, than we can get along better, and realize that there aren't as many differences between us all. We might worship different Gods, but most people believe that murder is wrong. Most people believe that abuse is wrong. Those are some values that unite all people. If we realize that others have similar values, even if for different reasons, then we can unite to strengthen those values. Values give us a common cause.

If we just are all different religions and that is all we focus on, then we will only fight over our doctrinal differences.

It is the same with all the groups in America. I have always said, why can't we just be Americans? Why do we have to seperate into different groups- ie.. black America, white America, Hispanic America. Can't we all get more done if we are working together for the Good of America and not just our own little group? I think so. I think by uniting with like values, we become closer and realize that there aren't so many differences.

Most of them- religiously slaughtered animals are slaughtered so inhumanely for a begin (Jews and Muslims will deny this however it's really actual) and there are not any legislation pronouncing that religiously slaughtered meat need to be classified as such this means that many individuals are being pressured into abiding with those faith's unwell practices with out understanding. Additionally, a few religions e.g. Islam have a robust hate closer to animals akin to puppies, which in my view I suppose is ridiculous and its infuriating to look such stupidity above all at the present time. Some religions also are very sexist and faith too can reason youngsters in faculties, or even adults to be bullied and it may possibly reason holiday-usainside households whilst a feminine acts like a natural western lady. People additionally interpret "God's phrase" in one-of-a-kind methods, which results in terrorism- for instance the assault that took position in South London two days in the past. Religion factors many individuals to seem down on others and suppose they're awesome for believing some thing that permit's face it, isn't actual. It additionally prevents youngsters from finding out (within the US youngsters aren't taught approximately evolution). Many wars were induced when you consider that of faith, it factors individuals to alienate one a further. However, that is best the case with religions that experience ridiculous recommendations and so forth, Buddhism, Sikhism and I'm definite many different religions aren't like this, I might now not abolish all religions- simply the out of date, tousled ones.

Society has it's own set of values that hopefully we all share. Then there are the values of our particular values we share with people who have the same faith values. Then there are our family values.
If there are no norms for the big society that begins the process how are we to get along? That is why many people in the area around Jerusalem fight. Two similar religious beliefs want to be only right, why not learn from each other and share?

Or perhaps it is because of the knowlage of people of different faiths. With Global communication and travel thanks to the internet, airplanes, etc. etc. People are more aware of other people... and disagree and start fights over it instead of staying in their corner of the world and minding their own bussiness. ... that's just the way it seems to me.
