I had a little rampage earlier today. I got 11 emails from fundies telling me all sorts of nasty things when I logged on today. Then I vented. I'm better now.

I think R&S is the place where atheists rampage the most. They are certainly a lot more than 5% of the population here.

I would have to agree with Fletch. People cause wars whether over religion, war, land, resources, etc.

Atheists claiming "Atheists did not do that; that was some OTHER kind of non-god worshiping people who did those atrocities," sounds about as hypocritical as Christians saying "Christians are peaceful followers of Jesus. It was some OTHER Christians that went on the Crusades."

I assume that you are insinuating that being an atheist means that you are tolerant and peaceful, could be.

But, communists could be labeled as atheists and they killed 30,000,000 plus.

Also, not all religionists rampage either. Christians have done it in the past, but not recently. Jews - never.

Hitler in Europe
Stalin in Soviet Russia
Mao Tse Tsung in China
Pol Pot in Cambodia
All Athiests.

More people died in the 20th century as a result of secular war, than in every religious war ever. More people were killed in one century than in the previous 40 centuries combined. I have nothing against athiests but don't go imagining that conflict is cause by religion - it is caused by people.

Um never...being a free thinker negates the possibility of such an irrational, destructive act.

If by rampage you mean raid, a long time ago. We should have another raid... It would be fun.

Athiests don't believe in rampaging.

I recall that they recently wrote some very sternly worded letters to the editor.

Sternly worded.
