I remember having a tea party once, it was pretty awesome. all the girls came over in sun dresses and we played that prize game where theres a gift wrapped in a gift and you pass it around until the last person finally gets the prize, I don't even remember what the prize was, I just remember a HUGE box to start with and it ended up being the size of a ring box. (it was probably candy lol). And the cake my mom made looked just like a hopscotch, she cut up the cake and had put it back together so it looked just like it, and then decorated it with the outline and numbers. And we had a couple hula-hoops and we made some sort of craft too. I'm in my twenty's now, so i don't remember specifically what we made. But seriously that was like the best birthday ever. I still have pictures from the girls that came, it was awesome cause we got to get dressed up, but not like playing dress up, just got to look pretty. Highly recommend it!!!

Hawaiian/tropical? Give each person a hula skirt (look for them at party decoration stores) and make drinking cups from coconuts! Buy some small cheap hair clips and hot glue a fake flower on it and give to each girl. Think island, bare feet, fruit drinks, music, etc.

what dont you go with the "cheetah girls" theme? I am sure you can fine some of those leopard ears (they are really headbands with pointed ears) get some black makeup paint to do the nose and whiskers.
(Cheetah Girls is from the Disney Channel starring Raven Symone)
maybe you can rent a karoke machine and the girls can entertain themselves.

For my daughter's eleventh birthday we had a spa night sleepover. We did manicures, pedicures, and "facials". We watched a movie, played games, we did the Amazing Race, and stayed up all night! I hope this helps you! Good luck!
