Please only if you are Christian, or Jewish answer!
I cuss a lot, I am addicted to shopping, I talk about people behind their backs, I don't really "Love thy neighbor" I tolerate thy neighbor, I am critical of others', and sometimes lie. When I'm in school, I feel like I'm living 2 seperate lives, one is shy, and quiet (in school) and the other cusses, etc. I also think I have the sin of vanity. But the good things that I do are: I am caring abiut animals, try to help others (that I know, and am related to), taught my grandpa to use the computer, I have a friend that had Cancer and not many people in the class I had with her wanted to talk to her or anything, and I became her friend. I try to find ways that I can help the environment, and I am kinda obsessed with doing things to prepare for diasters. Please give me a honest answer.

Repent, and believe the Gospel.
You can't afford to be mistaken about this.

Sin is a much more serious issue than most realize.
Part of the danger of sin is it deadens our senses over time to know the difference between good and bad.
Jesus said if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away from you. He was trying to get people to see the seriousness of avoiding anything that might put us in danger of hell.
Jesus Christ died on a cross to keep you out of hell.
He paid the penalty for your sins - all of them, when He died such a horrible death.
It is hard for us to face up to the truth that what Jesus suffered is what we deserve.
All He asks is that you admit you are a sinner and turn away from your sins as best you know how, and accept the free gift of forgiveness and the promise of eternal life which He bought for you at the cost of His own blood.
Pray today, be as honest as you know how, ask Him to forgive you and give you His Holy Spirit so you will have the strength to stop your cussing and hating and pride. Ask Him to cause you to be born again. This is what we need most, to receive a new nature like the nature that was in Jesus when He lived on the earth. Only then can we love others in the way He loved us. Then begin to read your Bible!
Start with the Gospels. Read through the New Testament. Cultivate a habit of reading at least something in it every day, even if only a paragraph or two. For free online sermons that can help you understand the Bible I recommend:

peace to you!

If your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, then you are not going to hell.

Revelation 20:15 declares, “If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” The Book of Life is the set of names of those who will live with God forever in heaven. It is the roll of those who are saved. This Book of Life is also mentioned in Revelation 3:5; 20:12; and Philippians 4:3. The same book is also called the Lamb’s Book of Life because it contains the names of those who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lord Jesus (Revelation 13:8; 21:27).

How do you get your name written in the Book of Life? Simply by repenting of sin and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:5). The moment you place your faith in Jesus as your Savior (John 3:16; Romans 10:9‑10), your name is written in the Book of Life, never to be erased (Revelation 3:5; Romans 8:37‑39). No true believer should doubt his eternal security in Christ (John 10:28-30).

Overall, I can't tell you that your going to hell or heaven. That's God's job, but if you dont accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and continue the habits you perform, most likely you will go to hell. But the good news is that since you dont have to go to hell, Jesus suffered to the extreme and died on the cross for your sins and everyone else's. If you have ever seen passion of the christ, you will relize how much he suffered. And do you think its fair that you sin agianst God, who suffered and died for, knowing that it's wrong but still do it? No one is perfect, even after you accept Jesus, but your sins will tone down and you will start relizing how bad it was. It's a great thing you relize what your doing is wrong, but you gotta change that. Trust me, I had problems my self, and still do, but seeking God's word, trusting in him, and repenting from your sins is the best thing in the world.

Make a change today, not for me, but for God who loved the world so much he gave is only son to die for you, so you could have everlasting life.

May God Bless you!

Eventually you will realize that everyone does those things you are afraid that you do. Or something similar, anyway. So, unless everyone goes to hell, you can't be sent there just for that can you?

If you are looking for the Christian answer, your shortcomings are not what determine where you go after you die. Its what you believe. Of course, believing is hard to figure out too. Eh....

I'm kinda like you... I have obsessions and I fullfil them once in a while now.. Coz i cant really help it. Im just trying to improve.

Nobody is perfect.. thats obvious.. so do you think nobody goes to heaven, and all go to he@@?
Well you could be right, we'll all go to he@@..

But, because Jesus came to earth to pay for our sins, we are saved through HIM.. Remember Him alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Just believe and your saved. Call to Him anytime...

Sounds like you're a normal human being to me. No one is perfect; everyone's got their faults and everyone always will. As long as you recognize and acknowledge your own shortcomings--and it sounds like you do--you're already far ahead of most folks, who refuse to even acknowledge they've ever done anything wrong in their lives. I'd recommend watching the cussing a bit--not because of hell, but just because it's tacky and tasteless. English has a vast, varied vocabulary for a reason, without having to revert to lazy swearwords to express yourself.

I do not believe in hell. Nor can I ever believe that a good person would be sent there for anything so petty as cussing or talk behind people's backs.

Not a christian so I'm breaking the rules, but you sound like a normal young lady to me. You're doing pretty good just tolerating your neighbor. It makes me sad that you worry about going to hell.

funny how as I read your note, that the further along I got, the more I forgot about what you first wrote and smiled in love at what you finished with.....
that's sort of like what God does.
Jesus loves you no matter what. He loves your heart. And all He wants from you is a relationship with Him.

So no - no matter what anyone says, NO ONE can tell you you are going to hell dear. Only God knows your heart, and He's anxiously waiting for you to listen.

blessings :)
