i like this girl who has a bf, but i think kinda likes me back. we were talking hypothetically if it is right to tell someone in a relationship u like them. she said it was okay to tell them. i said that i liked a girl in a relationship but i cared too much about her to put her in a bad position. would u respect this? take it as me really caring? or would u think it made me gutless?

No i don't think you should tell her when shes in a relationship. It will put her in a situation that will not be good. Because right now your friends and when she finds out how you feel it might make her feel uncomfortable and not see you the same way. And your friendship might not work anymore. Just wait for the right moment to tell her and I believe you will know when that time will be. I don't think you are gutless i see you as caring for someone and respecting you relationship with her.

If she thinks that it makes you gutless than she is looking for drama not a real relationship.

I think what you said was very respectful and shows me that you wouldn't be the type to cheat and you deserve far better than her.

It always makes me angry when some one is cheating and instead of their partner being angry with them they are angry with the person who supposedly lured them into it. I guess that I just vented, I haven't been cheated on that I know of I just believe in personal responsibility.

You did the right thing!!!!!!!!!!!

From a guy's perspective, you're an a$$ for hitting on somebody elses girlfriend. The world has a whole ocean full of SINGLE girls to choose from. Why not jump in and take a swim?

I would give you the credit you deserve for not interfering with a established relationship. You may just be more mature than your friend. I think you should look around you for a girl that would appreciate you. Good luck !

She's in a relationship. How would you like it if she was your girlfriend and someone else was having that conversation with her? If she finishes with this other guy, then you can tell her how you feel. Not now.

Well,I guess you will never know if she likes you until you ask her.I don't see anything wrong with asking her, it's simple she'll either say yes or no! It's not complicated for me to tell someone. If she's married it would be very wrong to do so. Good Luck!

I think that was sweet. It means you are interested but you don't want to hurt her or have her hurt. That was sweet and if she finds out she should respect you for that.

GAWD JUST BE STRAIGHT OUT ALREADY--all this beating around the bush and talking "hypothetically" is boring!
