i know theyre hereditary, but i dont want them! how can i prevent them?

wear support hose, no extra weight, limit high heal usage , don/t have a job where you are on your feet all day

I've always heard to wear pantyhose often and avoid standing for extended periods of time without sitting. Not sure if it works or not, but it sounds like it might help. But if you do get them there are many treatment options out there now for them. Just ask a dermatologist.

I think I've heard some where that crossing your legs is bad and might contribute to the problem. Also try elavating your legs when you get a chance. (that might be to prevent varicose veins)
