That's a tough question. I do wish they would legalize weed even though I don't do it, and I definitely wouldn't date a guy who smokes weed. I've never met an ambitious smoker in my life and I don't expect to.
But some of the greatest artists and musicians seem to do great when they're on it--sometimes it's even hard to tell when they're high. I guess to each his or her own.
One good thing about weed is that it doesn't kill people as readily as alcohol does. Alcohol can bring out the best and the worst in people while weed tends to just not bring anything out of a person.

Having seen first hand how drinking and weed affect people I would say weed is the safer of the two. Alcohol changes your personality, how you perceive things around you (not that weed doesn't change the way you think). If you haven't tried weed you can't compare it to drinking. Bottom line we have to stop government propaganda in the weed war. F**K the norm fight the war.

Being 42 years old & having been thru the life experiences that I have been thru, I would say by far drinking is much more stupid than smoking grass......Nobody ever killed anyone at the 7-11 over the last twinkie in a weed induced munchy frenzy......How many people think they are Superman & can really drive after 6 beers? Do the math!!

Being that alcohol has been proven to kill the user I would say alcohol.
Smoking pot is not a good way to ingest cannabis so smoking weed is also dumb as smoke, regarless of what is burned, is a known carcinogen. Eating hash or cooking with cannabis is a more healthy alternative for ingesting the THC wich is the active chemical in cannabis.

I really think weed should be legal already! I don't smoke weed that often due to the fact that it's illegal and not socially acceptable.
I do find a BIG difference between the two. Weed chills people out. They are easy to cooperate with and funny to be around. As with alcohol....... alcohol is F*&king trouble. People act like idiots thinking that they are cool. People drink and drive, make stupid decisions, and get into fights.
Do you see people do that with weed? The dumbest mistake they might make it eat you wedding cake when your wedding is tomorrow unlike potentially killing someone with alcohol.

hmm with dumb i guess you mean dumb to use... I feel that alcohol is a drug that is much more abused and people do many more dumb things on it... weed really makes you dumb, but at the same time you are to lazy to go out and do something dumb that effects other people, like drinking and driving, so I give the first place ribbon to alcohol for sure... alcohol has caused way way more deaths than weed...

it depends on what you mean by "drinking".
If you only have one beer, you're not damaging your brain. Your nerves and brain cells can easily regenerate themselves once the alcohol is out of your blood.
Of course weed gets in a screws with nerve and brain receptors which is said to actually increase brain power by easing tension and increasing blood flow to the brain.

Do it in moderation, know your limits, and don't do things to endaner other peoples lives and they're both fine and dandy.
I never drink, or smoke up, then drive home after a party. We always come with a DD, or crash at the persons house. We prefer not to taxi, cuz its a pain in the *** going to get your car back the next day, especially since you dont want your parents to know whats going on.
As long as its not affecting your social life, grades, and sports etc.. they're both fine

Excessive drinking is much more dangerous than firing up a joint or two. Weed often brings laughter and munchies because it raises your spirits. Alcohol is a depressant and you can find yourself not as alert as you would normally be. Even a drunk fighter is stumbling.
