Its never going to be as bright as when you first got it. Your skin has healed over it so it's going to naturally be a little bit dull. Just apply a good moisturizer to it everyday. If you just got it a month ago then parts shouldn't be fading. Sounds like you kept it too moist when it was healing and too much of the color came out in spots. Get it touched up and ask the artist for specific care instructions.

All of my tattoos faded after they healed. Some people’s skin doesn’t hold ink well. Also make sure you keep it out of the sun until it heals and take good care of it. My friend has the nicest flames tattooed on the inside of his upper arm. The flames are done in just shades of red and they are so vibrant. He had them done three times to get the color so bright. It’s not an unusual thing to get color retouched.

I think if you only just got it about a month ago it shouldnt of faded already! I got mine done about 2 years ago and its still bright! You should go back and make them do it brighter and get them to do it for free!!

your artist shouldve told you that wrist hand foot and mouth tattoos all fade faster than arm or leg tattoos you could have it touched up but youll probly wanna wait a couple more weeks and if you tan you can either stop or make sure to use a High spf sunblock on it

if you only got it done a month ago you should definitely go back and get themn to re-touch it. some colours take better to skin than others too. One of my tattoos had the red fade completely from it!

I would go to a different tattoo place then you did to get it done originally...ask around find one that people have been pleased with and tell them you want it brighter!

They always appear duller when the scab falls off, thats how they are supposed to look. Just remember to always put a heavy suscreen on it when you are exposed to the sun....that should keep it looking new.

YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TATTOO IS PROTECTED FROM THE SUN,IT WILL FADE A TATTOO QUICK.I HAVE 4 TATTOOS AND HAVE HAD THEM FOR 7 YEARS AND I USE CHAP STICK ON THEM EVERYDAY,I KNOW IT SOUNDS WEIRD BUT IT MAKES THEM BRIGHT AND KEEPS THEM MOIST.

Try to shave the hair off of the area and that should help.
