Fish and a few others have suggested that your god killed my son to punish me for not being a christian.

There have been Christians who have said that your god will keep my son apart from me in the after-life because he was too young to choose a religion, and my religion is certainly not christianity.

Is this the god you worship?

Can you think of any other thing that would make me hate a god more, or hate those who worship such a god?

When you all call yourselves "Christian", who is going to bother finding out whether you agree with people like Fish or not? Isn't Fish enough of an example of how hateful your religion can be that we should all look upon you as if you were Fish?

What a callous thing for him to say! As an ambassador for the Lord Jesus Christ, please accept my condolences and my heartfelt sorrow for your loss. I can not imagine what you must feel, and I apologize for Fish's insenstive, unChristian remarks - please forgive Him and please don't hold Christ responsible for this.

If it does not offend you, I will be asking my family to pray that God will comfort you and help you through the terrible pain and sorrow you must feel - I am so sorry.

I'm so sorry, but whoever told you that God kills people because of their relatives is mistaken. The God that true Christians worship is loving and wonderful. Fish obviously doesn't know what a true Christian is. I'm sorry about your son; that must have been very painful. I've never lost a child, so I can only imagine what you went through. But please, don't blame God. He loves people, and wants to be close to them. Why would he want to put them farther away from Him, by taking children? If you would like to talk more, I'd be happy to talk to you, just e-mail me. God knows how you feel, even though it may not seem like it, and he definitely did NOT punish you by taking your son. If you want to, I'll talk to you later. God Bless!

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your son. I am sure that must be one of the most difficult things in life that a person can go through.

I know you must realize that one person does not represent an entire religion, race, gender, or whatever. And, one person's insensitive words on a particular day may not represent the whole of who that person is either.

I don't blame you for your anger toward God and toward Christians. You have to find someplace to direct that anger, and God is the natural choice. During my difficult times in life, I often lash out at God in anger, and in the next breath, I reach out to him for comfort.

I choked back tears looking at your photo of your son and reading your words on your 360. I wish you the best as you find a way to go on.

I'm tired of ignorant people blaming God for the circumstances that take place in their lives. Don't blame God for things that happen. People get sick and die; it happens through genetic dispositions, decisions they make, decisions others make, accidental, and sometimes randomly. Anyone who says that God killed your son to punish is an idiot and doesn't know anything about God or the Bible. You can quote me on that. For two thousand years God has patiently waited for people to choose him or not to choose him. God is not in the business of revenge. I am sorry for your loss and for the anger you have in your heart against God and Christians. Not all Christians are feel the same way and by your hostility I'm sure you've said some things that caused people like Fish to retaliate against you. You asked "Is this the god you worship?" I don't know who you're talking about, but the God I worship has been forgiving people, saving lives, and mending broken hearts since the beginning of time. And if you choose, you can be forever with or without him, but that decision is yours too.

Oh I am so sorry for your loss and even sorrier that some nominal Christian has caused you even more grief. Your anger and bitterness is understandable.
The God I know and love would never kill your son to punish you for not being a Christian. It is not his way. I am putting a link here for you to follow. It has some things that might help ease your pain. Please read it.

Just like all groups, there are those who would give us a bad name.

Do I have all of the answers for you? No, honestly I don't know why you son died. I can say that I am very sorry, and I am praying for you. I hope that peace and healing can begin right away for you.

Please do not hold us all responsible for what one person does. They are obviously new to Christianity and they have some learning and maturing to do.

Unfortunately, everyone dies. Some sooner than others, like your son. This is the unfortunate result of sin in the world. However, the good news is that Christ paid the penalty for your sins and mine, so that we can be made clean in His blood so that we can enter Heaven if we want to. Some people simply choose not to go to Heaven by rejecting Christ's loving sacrifice. He wants you to be in Heaven with Him, but if you don't want to go, that's your Free Will that He gave you. However, every choice has consequences. I believe God has a place for your son in Heaven; but if you choose not to meet him there, God will show him a "video" of your life, and show him all the times that He reached out to you throughout your life and you rejected Him. Then your son will understand that God's judgment was just, so his grief will be short.

Let me answer for the christian masses: "Fish and people like him are not 'true' christians, true christians would not act that way." I'm sure Fish thinks he's a true christian, as did the ones that tortured Native Americans and enslaved Africans when they invaded North and South America. The same holds true for the ones in the white robes who went around hanging Black people. Same went for the ones with the swastikas on their arms as they threw Jews into furnaces. Same goes for the ones who burned women that other christians said were witches. I haven't even touched the Medeival period yet... the list just goes on and on and on...

A God of wrath grow to be greater of an incentive to maintain the hundreds on top of issues... quite, I question all of those non secular regulations that got here after the 1st set of commandments have been supposedly destroyed. I question the entire tale of the golden calf, to be trustworthy with you. I advise in case you were an Israelite who had walked for the period of the parted pink Sea and watched an entire military of Egyptians be destroyed in those waters...and you were led for the period of the desert by using a cloud pillar and a fireplace pillar...and you had seen the consequences of all those plagues upon the Egyptians...could you get impatient after 40 days while your chief went up on a mountain to communicate to God? It appears like a fabrication to undermine the authority of Aaron and his line and to sell the Levites--the only ones who did no longer worship the golden calf. Do i think this negates the existance of God, or perhaps YHWH? No. even though it does make me question all those "And the Lord commanded them to slaughter...blah blah blah." i do no longer think that God calls for me to maintain on with the doctrine of Biblical inerrancy. i do no longer think that God calls for me to have faith something yet what my heart and soul tell me. Do i think of God is a stunning, cuddly Care bear? No. i think of God is actual helpful and adverse and finally stable....

I wouldn't say so. God doesn't really punish you by killing others in this time of grace. your son probably died just because (human stupity, circumstances beyond control or knowledge, natural causes). I hope you find more comfort.

Blessings
