Well, if Joey is not your man, then you might take heart in the computer system!
My girlfriend was just 53, and after being hubby-less for 10 plus years, and raising 2 girls on her own, just met the greatest guy on match.com and it was last June, this June they are getting married....he is all that you described and I'm sure that there are more out there like him---but you must remember, YOU have to be able to bring some qualities to the relationship as well!!
ARe you a good listener, do you share of yourself and your belongings, can you cook, are you demanding and unable to be pleased by anything a man does for you, are you picky, do you have to have all go YOUR way?
There are a lot of guys that have been burned by the women out there that have taken huge advantage of them, and they can tend to shy away--ya gotta sell what you bring to the table--it is a little like a job interview--but more fun!
Good Luck and Be happy--no matter what!

You just described the perfect man to me but are you the perfect woman? We both know the answer to that one don't we? Most of those things you said you can't really tell unless you get to know him. Believe me there is no such thing as a perfect man or woman. If there was where will all the fun be of getting drunk or buying clothes that don't fit you, or making those jokes that are not funny? With time you learn to live with them and tolerate the small things that you don't like about them.

Searching for the right type of man is frustrating. Just continue living your life normally, trying to become the best YOU possible, and in time, the right man will come along!

at the hard ware store, gamer conventions, car shows, body building shows, sports events ( college or Pro), at basketball courts, gyms, the military, military bases, entertainment venues around military bases, air shows, gun shows, libraries... just go where they go..
as far as the particulars you just have to kind of weed through the crowd. ( you notice I did not mention bars or clubs)
