I gathered up all of these bibles that were left around my college campus by the giddeons. Now that I collected them, they can't be read by any of my fellow students. The problem is I have hundreds of them. I need to dispose of them in a propper way, but I need to protect people from them. What is the best way to dispose of bibles, burning, shredding, anything creative will help.

Why did you collect them? So "they can't be read by any of my fellow students"? Sounds like the kind of suppression of books totalitarian societies are known for; and they're always atheists. Would you like a hero, you great lover of the free flow of information and opinion? Try looking up Lazar kaganovich. He actually burned cathedrals. And he starved 7 million Ukrainians to death. Worst mass-murder of all time. It's too bad you can't meet him since he died in 1991 but try throwing that name into your google for a role model you can look up to and respect.

Hmmm, while you are at it, why don't you burn a couple copies of Huckleberry Finn and all the other books that people have burned in order to "protect" people from. What you are doing is wrong and a complete insult to others. Let people think for themselves if the bible is right or wrong. No one needs your "protection".

Man.. book burning.. etc.. What ever happened to Freedom of Religion? Freedom of Speech?

And people used to say the Christians were bad for wanting books banned, etc..

Guess it works both ways, huh?

They've tried for thousands of years to keep people from reading the Bible. You'll fail also.

If you want to burn them, do so.
But there's probably a nursing home or some other place where they'd get put to good use.

/doesn't like to see books destroyed even ones I don't hold to.
