Your younger brother, sister, relative, or neighborhood friend can't wait to be your age. By narrating an appropriate story, how would you tell that young person that it isn't as wonderful as he or she thinks. What story or book would you compare this to and why?

This sounds like homework. I would just tell them from experience. When you're younger, it looks like you get to do so much more. But when you're the older one, you lose the freedom of youth and have more responisibilities and are expected to be able act according to your age. There must be a million stories and that is your homework. . .

Life is a trip, it can throw you for loops that you never even saw coming. Don't need a book to relate this from, life will be their best teacher and they'll find this out on their own.
