Actually it's not God's fault.
Since we were created by an all knowing God knewour shortcomings which is why He told Adam and Eve what would happen if they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad(Gen2:17)
(Some think the tree was a trap.I believe it was Jah's way of giving Adam and Eve a way of showing thier appreciation for all He had done.If someone came and gave you everything you have ever wanted ,wouldn't you want to be able to show how much you appreciated it? God gave Adam and Eve that opprotunity. All they had to do is not eat from the tree!)
Once they showed that they would rather follow Satan than God,God removed His protection.
In Gen3:16-19 Jehovah protected both the earth and the rest of humans. Now that mankind was imperfect could you imagine what the world would have been like if all Adam and Eve had to do was lay around and mak babies?!
Fast forward:So what we have today is a result of man following his own will(with some advice from Satan) instead of God's word.
It's like if you were to build a racing car and someone bought it,you would recomend to that person just what they need to do in order to keep the car in tip top racing condition. You tell the person"OK,you got to change the oil every twenty thousand miles or the engine will not get lubercated. But the person decides the oil change can wait.So you tell them what's going to happen and it does happen.
Well that's what's going on now.We are reaping the consquences of independence from Jah.
And it's going to take Jehovah to intervene and stop the destruction we have caused to this earth.
When you get a chance try talking to a Jehovah's Witness to get an idea of what's going on.
It couldn't hurt!

Hello Billy Graham.
1) God ain't real.
2) Global warming is Real.
3) your timing for the decisions is a bit out of wack.
Maybe it is time to quit supporting Israel and let the original owners have their homes back. After more than sixty years the Israelis have not figured out how to live in peace with their neighbours and are still carrying out a genocide against the palestinians.

whether there's a big ol teddy bear in the sky running things, or a deity plugged into cnn with an opinion and some thunder bolts... who cares anymore? if god would send katrina to the beloved crescent city, home of the most genuine people in the world, over israel or ANYTHING, then god wouldn't be welcome at my dinner table either.
you want to know what we should do? pray. pray for mercy. pray for eyes and brains big enough to accept what we will never understand in this lifetime. pray for the wisdom to stop trying to figure god out, and use that time instead to prepare for the inevitable. these things happen... betsy and camille rocked us back in the day... and yet, we rebuilt. if god were to destroy us because of our wickedness, i think god would have enough power to make sure a new burger king couldn't pop back up within a year.

Catastrophies have been happening since the beginning of time. Before radio, television and internet people didn't always know about things that happened in other countries. That is why it seems like there are more of them. God is waiting for as many people as possible to come to know Him before He comes back, because He loves us. Most of the bad stuff happens because we haven't taken very good care of the world that he gave us. What to do? Pray and read your Bible. Find out what God wants us to do.

The thing that all of those major events have in common is that people were involved. The hurricanes/tonadoes/natural disasters can be expalined by global warming, which was caused by man. The other events are also obviously caused by man.

So are you saying that, to avoid these disasters, the US should strive to set forth a chain of events leading up to the destruction of humankind to fulfill the hallucinations of John's acid trip?

"God" isn't doing anything of earth or anywhere else. Natural catastrophes occur. They have nothing to do with your last paragraph.
