You must be as fit as the entire string section of the Royal Philharmonic.

Walking is very good for you and every part of your body will benefit - your heart, lungs, muscles etc.

"My grandmother took up walking 5 miles a day when she was sixty years old. She's ninety five now, and we don't know where the heck she is". (Ellen de Generes)

Yes it is very beneficial to your health. I had weighed 240 pounds and 4 months later by walking and eating healthy I weighed 170 pounds. I dropped from a 22 to a 14 in size. I walked 5 miles in the morning before I ate breakfast, then ate immediatley after the walk. That is when the metabolism is highest. Then in the afternoon I walked about 3 miles sometimes more on the weekend. I would invest in walking everyday of the week. My results were from dedication and hard work. If I could do it so can you. Good Luck!

If you walk at a brisk pace, its great 4 your heart & lungs. Brisk walking for half an hour actually burns more calories than jogging. Its also easier on your joints. You dont sweat as much, so you dont get dehydrated as quickly.

Mentally, its uplifting. Youre outside, soaking up sunlight which your body turns into vit d & serotonin which helps keep depression away.

Even if you just walk at a normal pace its still good for you because you are still burning calories & fat & are still getting the fresh air. I walk everyday at least 10 mins a day, most days i walk more than that (a couple of hours). If I dont go for a walk a couple of days in a row, i notice the difference!

This is really good. They say 10,000 steps a day is the optimum walk, and this is about 5 1/2 miles. Two hours a day is really good.
Walking promotes health, and increases longevity.

Yes do you not feel the benefits it is great for your heart and it is time out for yourself which is great for stress. What do you be thinking about when you walk do you solve any of your problems. Do you enjoy the scenery and take in all that is around you. Hope you do because we were given legs before any transport. Good for you

yeah thats a good thing to do. even if u dont lose weight(not sure if u want to or not) BUT its still good to do. it'll help your heart. just make sure not to go to slow. walk pretty fast paced. if your knees start to hurt then i'd suggest you wear knee brace(s). i do this. i walk amost everyday. o yeah and, buy some weights that go around your ankle. this will help A LOT!! you'll burn more calories too. they also sell some that fit around your wrists. u can try those too. God Bless♥
