I have a vet appointment tomorrow but how can I check her to see if she needs more immediate care? She seems to be okay, no limping or anything, but it was a pretty serious crash and I'm already really sore in my neck and back.

Sorry about your accident, it would be best to see your vet sooner than later there could be internal injuries. Just keep an eye on her. After this you may want to look into getting a harness seat belt for her. I have them for both of my dogs, one is about 20 pounds and the other is 70 pounds. They really are a lifesaver. A friend of mine was in a very bad accident and her car rolled, both her dogs were in their harness seat belts and came out without a scratch. Hope you're both fine and out of pain. All the best....

It seems that youve already been checking the dog. Just keep monitoring her closely to see if any of her actions change. If she seems to be doing well so far then shes probably ok, but keep your appointment with the vet just to make sure. Domestic animals are pretty good at letting their person know when they are in pain.

Best of luck to you!

I would just keep a close eye on her, and if anything seems off then take her to an emergency vet office. Also just check and see if you see any cuts, or lacerations on her and keep note of that so that you can tell the vet so that she or he can take a closer look at it.

Hope everything goes well, and I hope you get better also.

If you're harm and the puppy is high-quality, I suppose that the puppy is taken to the refuge to be cared for if you happen to do not have an extra plan in location. I suppose that they must make a selection founded at the severity of your situation as as to if she could then be up for adoption, however in no case must your puppy be positioned down due to the fact of this. If your puppy is harm, she must be cared for. The Humane Society or ASPCA for your field must have that included. If you're high-quality and she or he is harm, then it is going to certainly be your accountability to get her to the vet, however that depends upon the severity I assume. If she is VERY injured, there could also be measures in location as above. Contact your neighborhood Humane Society, ASPCA or vet and ask them. They could often be your high-quality useful resource to reply this. As to what occurs whilst you're injured and she or he isn't, make certain you've a plan in location and that folks recognize approximately it. If you had been injured, do you've a pal she could pass to? If so, make certain that pal is indexed as an emergency touch for you. Make definite that whoever else the medical institution could touch if you happen to had been injured is aware of the plan in your puppy so she can be sorted both means.

Keep monitoring her behaviour overnight, what you're describing seems pretty fine but I would keep an eye on her until she's checked out by the vet.

Good for you for checking her. If she seems OK (not limping, eating, drinking, pottying OK) go over her body gently and slowly to see if there are sore spots. She will tell you if she is sore.
Ask your vet to refer you to a canine chiropractor! Dogs who compete in sports such as Agility and Flyball need to go to specialists when they are sore. It would be worth your time to go to a specialist to be sure about your girl.
Good luck!

Call your vet and tell them what happened. If they feel they would like to see your dog today then that fine but if they say it can wait until tomorrow then make an appointment for him to be seen.
Geeze, I hope your feeling better soon.

Let that be a lesson to you. A dog license in not the same as a drivers license. You should not have let your dog drive. If you continue to let your dog drive it will end up in the hoosegow with Paris.
