From absolute reality derives the universe, causeless and unthinkable, to which all beings are enchained to it. The mind can contemplate its origin through ontological truths, the derived facts of thought until it reaches the causeless cause of absolute reality, The Self. This brings the mind to an infinite threshhold which allows it to escape the causation of corporeal reality and achieve immortality.

Rose,
Consciousness is stored in the brain, but through even a small amount of meditation you can learn to gradually free your spirit from the body and hold it with your mind.

Tom,
The individual self that we recognize in our thoughts does not hold permanent existence, in the same way that the thought of the mind can not hold immortal existence, but the mind itself that never comes into thought, but always exists as the Self, is permanent.

Sorry, I'll re-word.
The mind itself never becomes a thought, so it is eternal and unchanging, which is where all Self reflection comes from. This is why the mind is sometimes also called the soul or eternal Self.

yeah, man, yeah, heavy, real heavy, it is just what I was thinking... like if god is the ultimate causality and the universe is unbounded but limited then human consciousness had to arrive at itself through the ultimate conundrum of self creation, (takes a drag on a cigarette) it is like this, if we create our own reality through the process of synaptic cross-firing, then universe really does not exist because we create our own reality... yeah man, you are brilliant...

I'd love to Know The Truth...
So, what happens when that mind mentioned above shuts down in death?? There is no infinite threshhold if talking about a human mind, for it WILL die.
Peace.

I don't think that's the truth.
I mean, it might be, but it's completely irrelevant to how I live my life, and it sounds pretty far fetched. I'd take fact (what is observable) over truth (absolute nature of reality - most likely made up) any day.
Reality is real. It's an assumption, but without it there is no source of knowledge.

Thanks!
Now do you want to know the Truth?
Jesus came to earth to die on the cross for our sins and all we need to do is accept Him as our Lord and Savior and repent of our sins and then we are guaranteed an eternity in heaven.
Have a great week!

The truth is that all things arise due to causes and conditions, believe it or not, and there's no such thing as an inherently existent "self". Try as you might, you'll never disprove that.
