Christians: If you're not just trying to show us what you don't know, and you really want to be left alone, why do you keep posting here, knowing we (atheists) are here for the purpose of answering religious questions? Don't you know that's just asking for it?

So, it's just Christians on this forum? This board isn't just full of Christians and us pesky atheists, you know. There are Wiccans, Jews, Mormons, you name it.
Furthermore, I'm pretty spiritual for an atheist--and I want to explore my spiritual side as much as possible while maintaining my mindset. I also like people and learning about them. I'm as curious about people who are religious as many of them are about me.
And to add some more icing to the cake, I do like the occasional debate. And discussing my thoughts with other atheists, as I do not know many in real life. I live in a conservative neighborhood, so naturally, there aren't many people here who understand me.

Who wants to be left alone? I here to cure you of your delusion.
Considering all the Christians yesterday that confused the Exodus story of the killing of the first-born in Egypt with the the New Testament story of King Herod killing male children under the age of 2, I'm surprised that you'd be willing let Christians answer your questions.
Atheists are typically much more knowledgeable of the Bible. That's why we're atheists. We actually read it.

I don't ask many questions here and the ones I do ask are because I'm curious about what other people think. It's too bad you have a problem with that.

I want to be left alone in government.
I want to come here privately, to debate and possibly learn things.
See the difference?
What problem do you have discussing different points of view? Someone interested in a substantive debate would not exile any group. I certainly don't.
Maybe you realize that your arguments don't hold water,
save for the emotional tripes? P.S. Are you the kind of Christian who answers in bible quotes?

I don't know why we bother to be honest. Its not like you're listening to what we say because you are so convinced that what you believe is right, and are condescendingly trying to educate the rest of us. Now do you really believe in Jesus? Really really? You sure? Scary to think about that one isn't it. Because christians try to scare us with eternal damnation all the time, or emotionally blackmail us with 'god loves you, how could you be so ungrateful and not believe'

Eyes are opened, a pair at a time. Asking why we are here will not motivate us to leave. If anything it will only remind us that our presence is great enough to be noticed and felt. We will not leave. In fact, we will only increase in numbers. Minds will be opened. Your cult will die off, but it cannot happen soon enough. We enjoy assisting in the process of the termination of religious fundamentalism.

Of course they do. But if they left, I would too. Let's face it, legitimate religious questions are so few and far between here that most people are surprised when they see one.

I'm here for the drinking games.
You can talk to me all you like on the Internet. I just want to be "left alone" in that you don't burn my house down like you did with that women in Oklahoma recently. Or you don't block medical research. That kind of thing.

Someone's got to correct all the mistakes you make. And I'm not even talking about the 'faith things' (except when you start pretending that your faITH is faCT, then it's a mistake), I mean like mischaracterizing/stereotyping atheists, misdefining evolution/abiogenesis/Big Bang/geology etc. and lumping them together randomly, and other times when you guys plainly state something that's just WRONG--no two ways about it.
Notice how no atheist comes here and declares that you should be banned from practicing your religion, as foolish as we might think it is.
Yet there are Christians in this country who would ban everything that isn't Christianity if given the opportunity. I think you ought to look at the beam in your eye, buddy.
