or is it just normal.....????

i feel sharp or achy pain in random bones like different ribs (both back and front....) ( my ribs start to hurt quiet sharply upon application of slight pressure...like resting a book against my ribs when carrying it in my hand)
and pains in the bones of my forearms....(both radius and ulna)....and also my fingers and palm
and sometimes in my vertibrea.....
i also have random pains in random parts of my head.......

all the pains are spontaneous and short lived.....
what could it mean???

i havent suffered from any trauma.....

i am 17...............................5'7".....135 lbs...
have stopped growing completely......at least in height

the pains are kinda frequent.....like several times a day

not all that related......
but if a sleep with my elbow folded.....without any other pressure on it......my hand goes numb......almost every night....

These types of pains are all normal for someone who is 17 years old. You only need to worry if a pain in some particular place keeps coming back, or lasts a long time (more than several days in a row). There is usually no particular problem causing random pains in teenagers--its what people call 'growing pains.'

Sleeping with a folded arm or wrist can cause pins and needles feelings in anyone who sleeps deeply--nothing unusual with this. You can practice sleeping in a position the does not require your elbow to bend as much, and this problem will go away.

Hi,
You must see a doctor! If these pains don't resolve then the pain you've described could be realted to problems in your joints, or the muscle surrounding the bone.
This could also be radiating pain from somewhere like your neck or shoulders, these pains are mostly caused by stress when the muscle becomes tense. You could try a massage in the neck/shoulder area and see if that helps!

Hope this helps :)
