I am running a cable tv network, where i have 700 subscribers and i live in a rural area. Some of the people steal our lines and they watch tv for free and because of this we are in big loss, so i am worried about this. My question is how can i encrypt my cable tv signal and control it so that only the ones who are authorised can view the channels. If there are such devices available then what are they and how much do they cost and which companies manufacture such devices and also some help for setting up the whole system and how the whole system will function....
Please help if you know the answer...

I am VERY surprised that you are running a whole cable network and you don't know about Cable scrambling and CableCard.

Contact Cable Labs (http://www.cablelabs.com/) and I am sure they will provide all the info you need.

Cisco or Motorola for example should be able to provide both infrastracture support and cable boxes you can rent to your subscribers.
