Doesn't the below scripture indicate that people are born gay.
Matthew 19:10-12 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

10The disciples said to him, "If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry."
11Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage[a]because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it."

Eunuchs were commonly associated in ancient culture with sexual interest in men. For example, the Kama Sutra (an ancient Eastern sacred text) has an entire chapter on eunuchs seducing men. (See note 8.) Quintus Curtius, an historian who wrote about Alexander the Great, reports that Alexander’s palace included “herds of eunuchs, also accustomed to prostitute themselves [like women].” (See note 9.) Quintus Curtius also reports that Alexander the Great fell deeply in love with a eunuch named Bagoas and they entered into a relationship of mutual love.
These examples from ancient literature indicate that, in ancient culture, eunuchs were a suspect category. They were commonly regarded as being sexually interested in men, not women. This does not mean all were gay. But clearly, as a class, they were strongly associated with homosexual desire in the popular mind.

"Eunuch" was a sort of euphemism for "homosexual" in Greek; but it also had the meaning we associate with it today, as well as that of a voluntary abstainer from sexual activity. "Paul," who can't stop gloating about the fact that he eschews sex (because not everybody can be as holy as he thereby proves himself to be), would count as a "eunuch" in this latter sense. What the author of Matthew meant by the term is unclear. Some scholars have argued convincingly that he was indeed referring to homosexuality; but many others remain unconvinced.
Of course, it doesn't really matter what it says in the Bible about homosexuality, except for trivia's sake. The earth revolves around the sun for all that it says in the Bible.

Wow G.C. You really took that scripture (Matthew 19:12) out of context. Reread, start at verse 3-12. Three definitions the scripture is referring to: Eunuch refers to someone who abstains from SEX. 1) Some were made to be eunuchs by their mothers; meaning they were called from birth to not be with women etc. etc. 2) Some were castrated and could not be with women 3) some just chose not to have sex for heavens sake. It doesn't mean they were gay. Let scripture interpret scripture. It will explain itself. Read the bible with an open mind, not to prove your point. When you come to the bible you motive must be pure to understand otherwise Satan will give you the interpretation.

eunuchs are men that have been castrated.
You added that eunuchs have been shown to take an interest in men..well logically knowing that they them selves could not perform in that way, they would then in turn possibly be with men as a bottom..for lack of a better word. Eunuchs being gay in that respect would make sense.

Eunuchs are castrated males, used to guard harems.
they are regarded as the third sex.
In india, the Hijra tradition is of castrated males.
They do have sex with men, as they regard themselves as non-male.
Men do have sex [obviously anal and oral sex] with Hijras and they do not generally regard themselves as homosexual because they have had sex with non-males.
Similarly, effeminate teenagers in india and other eastern countries do have what the WEST percieves as 'sex' but what the common man in india perceives as 'play' between a male and a not-male.
It's only when a 'macho man' gets penetrated as violence and rape [again not uncommon, but hidden], it's a symbol of his emasculation and is a form of revenge. Again not normally considered 'gay'.
In India "Gay' is a lifestyle construct among the english speaking elite. In the rest of the country, more honestly among the working classes, young men and older ones may have 'fun' [called Masti] among themselves at times, and then happily go back to their own wives, totally unhindered by any guilt.
That's why AIDS prevention messages cloaked in heterosexual terms and western terms are so inadequate here, 'cos a HUGE population of guys just DON"T have SEX with other men, even if they are into risk behaviour.
A SIMILAR ambiguity is there in the BIBLE, an eeastern book being interpreted by clouded Western minds....

Eunuch does not mean homosexual in the Bible. Two completely different concepts and words.
The Greek word for homosexual is "arsenokoites" and is Strong's Reference # 733. It comes from from GSN0730 and GSN2845; and means "a sodomite."
The Greek word for eunuch is "eunouchos," and is Strong's Reference # 2135. It is derived from eune (a bed) and GSN2192; a castrated person (such being employed in Oriental bed-chambers); by extension an impotent or unmarried man; by implication, a chamberlain (state-officer).
A eunuch was castrated so that they could be near a king's harem, and not be able to impregnate any of his wives/concubines.

You are wrong, an eunuch is someone who has had their testicals removed. The did this in many cases so that the men wouldn't have sex with the queen. They weren't gay, they couldn't even have sex. So this passage says that some people were born with out the ablity to have sed and others wee made that way. But also others like Paul in the bible decided not to marry anyone to stay completely pure just as Jesus did. But if you know you will not stay pure it is better to marry a women to give your self to sexually.

Huh? You don't know what the word eunuchs means, do you? It doesn't have anything to do with homosexualism at all and never has.
A eunuch is someone thats had their penis cut off. The man is casterated.
You should be ashamed for not knowing that.

A eunuch is someone who has been castrated and therefore unable to reproduce, not a homosexual.
The 'first responder' up there is a retard, though. It's not a type of sexuality? lol *rolls eyes*

A eunuch is NOT a homosexual, it's someone who's either been castrated or born w/o certain genitalia that makes one be defined of, physcially, as a "man".
