I always wear it on my RIGHT ring finger.
For what I know, when you put it on with the shield ponting towards yourself it means you're with somebody and when it's pointing outside it means you're available or single.
But it can be just a mormon urban legend. Wear it as you wish. Just remember what it means. That's more important than what finger or what hand it's on.

CTR means Choose The Right. I usually wear them on my right hand (engagement finger) Or My Pinkie. Sometimes my Thumb. I don't really think it matters. I have to get a new ring. Mine is one of the cheap ones. I want to get a really nice one

I don't think there's any finger you're supposed to wear it on.
For all those who asked, CTR stands for "Choose the Right". It's similar to the WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) things that some other churches do, but this one has been around a lot longer.

One of Joseph Smith's polygamous wives, Helen Mar Kimball, received the Church's first CTR Ring when she married the Prophet at age 14. Ever since, the CTR ring has been a symbol of purity and chastity for the youth of the Church.

There really is no right or wrong way to wear the ring. typically, however, it can be worn on the third finger of the right hand.

Which ever hand you choose.
I always wore mine on the ring finger of the right hand. There is nothing that says where you have to wear it.
