They are considered biological waste, and usually incinerated. You cannot take them home, because of the laws regarding biological waste. You can arange for them to be picked up by a mortuary and buried, but nobody tells you this, and they are generally already incinerated.
By law they cannot be used for tissue cultures, which was once a possible fate of especially aborted babies.
Some teaching hospitals will keep miscarried babies for teaching aids, or autopsy them to determine cause of miscarriage, but usually only with your consent, and sometimes only at your request.
The organs of miscarried children are sometime eligible for donation to sick living babies, but nobody will tend to ask you for them. If you want to make the loss of a near term child less tragic, aggressively donate. There is a terrible shortage of tiny organs.

If the baby was aborted no they do not give them graves, if the abortion was done legally it was done in the first 12 weeks and the fetus is considered just that and they do not give them graves I don't know for sure what they do with them maybe you can call a clinic that performs abortions and ask. If it was a miscarriage and the baby was developed to a certain point then they do give them funerals and graves. I have two friends that this happened to. they were almost full term when the babies died so they had a funeral.

I don't think you want to hear the details. They are not pretty,so I'll just say this: "Never get pregnant, unless you are absolutely sure your ready to be a mother.
(PS) Funerals,Burials,Cremations, etc are given for babies who were either: "Stillborn or Passed Away",hours or days later (while the baby was still under hospital care).
An Abortion is to "terminate the pregnancy" at the mother's own free will.
A Miscarriage is when the embryo dies within the womb,of either natural causes,or something the mother did (without knowledge) that caused the Miscarriage.
The child will not have a Funeral,or Gravesite Burial. There is no Grave.

if they're old enough once they're miscarried, you can opt for a grave if you want and you give them a name, as for earlier miscarriages and abortions, the hospital "disposes" of them, basically in the trash.
to Georgia who made this comment : "aborted babies are most of the time secretive because it is a teen"...... TOTAL generalization. isnt that what we're trying to get away from in north america? goes hand in hand with prejudging someone.

I know nobody would want to hear this but I read that some aborted babies are sold because they use their parts in hygene products such as certain lotions. The fat is like a natural lubricant and stuff. No BS Look it up online... I bet you find out I am telling the truth.

I had a miscarriage when I was 18 weeks and we were given the option of either doing a private burial or letting the hospital put him in a mass burial of all the babies lost before they were 20 weeks. We chose a private burial. But that was what our hospital does. They said twice a year, they bury them and mark the spot at the cemetary so parents can visit.

I know there is a garden near our hospital where I believe has the cremated remains, and some kind of nice plaque or stone and also holds a memory service there every year.

Aborted go to garbage or for research. Miscarried are usually buried. Well, stillborn anyways. My parents buried their stillborn.
