Evolution says nothing about the supernatural, God could exist but you cannot prove either way that evolution is being controlled or was created through the divine or the natural.

Thank you...yes, evolution was ONE of the plans put into action when God created Existence...not THE ONLY plan, but ONE of them. Biological evolution most definitely occurred (and still occurs; I see it in my micro lab all the time, where bacteria EVOLVE a mutation that allows them to survive when exposed to previously lethal conditions, hence resulting in a new organism; developing resistance to antibiotics is another example of Evolution at work).

However, there WAS more involved, particularly in the development and progression of Humanity, than just biological evolution. In some ways, Humans have surpassed their evolutionary potential, due in part to our Spirit/ our Souls, which ultimately I attribute to God's Presence Within us.

Very little in the Universe is static, and unchanging, and exactly as it was when first Created by God...things change, things move, creatures Evolve. And these changes in no way diminish the role of the Creator who made them in the first place: it just means that Life is more complex than just understanding that "God Created Everything"...He did, but not much remains the same as LONG LONG ago when He first Created it all.

Peace.

i swear some people are retarded on here, of course evolution and creation can co-exist. evolution is a scientific process and creation is a spiritual process, why can't one explain the other? so lets say that god created the heavens and the earth... could that had been done through the big bang? that makes sense doesn't it. and since time is relative, could the seven days that are told in the bible really had been thousands of millions of years? sounds good to me.

Of course it is! All natural processes give glory to their Designer and Creator, especially such intricate and magnificent a process as biological evolution. What powerful evidence of the majesty, omniscience and omnipotence of the One Who designed it and set it into motion!

Evolution and Creation are polar opposites and absolutely cannot gel and here's why....

Evolution says Death brought Man into the world while creation says that Man brought Death into the world (via the original sin).

No way they can co-exist.

Maybe.

But the natural explanation is sufficient.

Why introduce "god" to the equation if it is not neccessary to explain speciation?
