What's the deal on Yahoo Answers when simply asking a honest question causes some people to call you stupid or attack you personally without knowing the full context or scope behind the question ?

Because some people are jerks by default.
However, I assume they bash other people out of ego, to feel better about themselves, regardless of questions asked.
Yeah, all ego, no decency.
I think this also applies to those that attack/berate others because of grammar/spelling, feeling the need to attack a user just because of it, which I find to be
the most ridiculous thing to do, its one dishonest way to win an argument.

Why would you ask a question without giving all the necessary details and full context?

Because humans are still only human and believe their time is limited and dont like to have their precious time wasted because they feel there valueable or feel the other person asking question took more of their time.

It's easier to be mean than nice for many.
And it's also a whole lot more fun for ignorant people to be rude and attack than to THINK and help.

it is some peoples nature to attack and belittle people,
that leaves the rest of us to help and answer others questions.

I often think those are the passive agressive people out there in the real world, and they let out their agression in here where they think it is safe.....they have a computer to hide behind....I say a prayer for them and let them go.....
