You can't actually 'change' the manufacturer code for your keyless entry, but you can ADD an 'alternate' code of your choice.
In order to do so you must 1st determine what the original manufacturer code is.
The 1st 2 answers tell you how to get the manufacturer code.
Now to add your alternate code;
enter the manufacturer code
press "1"
enter your alternate code (must be 5 digits)
DONE!

I am going to give you the link to download your entire owners manual. You can refer to the chapter about "Keyless Entry" (page 114) for explicite directions:

It's a good idea to download & save it to your computer anyway.

It's not written with a paint pen but he is correct on the area.. when you open the side compartment on the drivers side, toward the front there is a white module with a 5 digit number in black.. that number is the entry code....

You can't change that code without replacing the module.. you can add your own, but never erase the factory code...

In the back left there should be a compartment if you take the cover off it is usually written on the inner fender with a paint pen.
