To quote Gandhi...
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Jesus never said to create a relationship with OUR creator. Jesus taught to follow him. To love the Father by doing his commandments.
Where did you come up with this drivel???

I've never read that in any of my versions of the Bible. Where did you get that? One of the Gnostic "gospels"?
Jesus said to love the Lord with all your heart and mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Many Christians don't do this (in fact very few) but many try. And our God is a forgiving God, if we truly ask for forgiveness.

God is the Creator, we are to enter in to a relationship with Jesus.
What about you? Jesus came to pay the penalty for sin. Are you ready to meet your maker? Have you been reconciled to God through faith in your creator?

I don't remember seeing that in the Bible. I think I am confused as to what you mean by that- I have to admit that most Christians do not follow all of the teachings of Christ. We are human and fail. I have found more people than I thought who are genuine Christians, who are striving each day to be more like Christ than they were the day before. Do not judge us by our failures. You would not like to be judged by your failures.

When they go to hell...I believe many who claim to be Godly, are way off base...led so by their fundamentalists leaders who worship the Bible...which is man's word...more than they worship God, the creator.

You're right.
Some Christians are worshipping the right God,but doing it the wrong way.
God does want to have a personal relationship with us.

Why are you so arrogant? In many of your posts, not just this one.
Rather full of yourself, I'd say.
And I would like chapter and verse for your 'quote'
