No, LCD do not get burn in. It is possible to get alitte image retention but if you turn it of and back on again this should correct the problem.
The only other thing to keep in mind is leaving a bright image on you LCD for very (I mean very) long time will shorten the overall life of the Back-light and the LCD pixels. Usually not very noticeable because it just gets duller and duller.

Probably not. Modern LCD screens are a lot less apt to burn in an image than CRT units. They generally don't burn in an image. It is the type of screen used in a laptop computer.

Turn it back to regular TV for a while it should be OK

turn it off and back on, can you see a burn in? if you don't notice it, then it didn't. even if it did, turn the set off and leave it off for about 8-12 hours and then when you turn it back on it should be gone...

Could be. Turn it off and look for ghosting. Not anything you can do about it, so might as well not lose sleep over it (he-he...I guess you didn't anyway)
