Well I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you there is a pretty good chance that it is anxiety. I get anxiety and it can feel like a pain that goes to your back from your chest. I've been on medication since I was 13 years old for it, and I'm 27 now.
I would suggest going to see a doctor so you can make sure it isn't something worse.
I hope that helps a little.

For the beyond eight years I have had a tremendous chest affliction and for a few rationale I idea it is the center that hurts untill as soon as I met a health care professional and he helped me. Basically the quandary probably that your ribs transfer rather in the course of the night time or whilst you lifestyles heavy stuff. They have to be placed again in a traditional role and it is going to affliction will give up.

You did not provide much information, but this could be related to indigestion, a gall bladder episode (possibly from rich or fatty foods), or maybe a gastric upset from something you drank? I would have to know more details to make a better assumption.

Don't panic. What have you been doing lately? Sounds like rib pain. Have you been painting, or doing activities that require your arms above your head for any length of time. Take some ibuprofen, hot shower/bath, and rest the next day or two.

Could be nothing could be something. Go to the ER now ! Regardless of age - anyone can have a cardiac event. Better safe the sorry - please go...

As an EMT I have seen to many people assume it is gas, gallbladder etc. and then regret it.

it could be anything really, but it can't be breast cancer or cardiac problems because it is on your right side. but it's better if you get it checked. and you need to give more details, how is the pain like? sharp or blunt? is it spread out or pin point? this is essential to know.

first, just to be safe, take an aspirin. It might be indigestion.
If you are experiencing any numbness in your left arm, you need to call your doctor, or 911.
