This has been a very trying day...as a pastor I run across alot of different people some real and other as fake as plastic flowers. I just had a friend completey turn around and stab me in the back....it is weird because I council people on this matter but when it happens like this it really hurts me.

You are a Child of God and He loves you. He wants to be with you forever in the Kingdom of Heaven. He loved you so much that when we were still sinners He sent His innocent son to die for us. That cheered me up writing it and I have had a bad week.

In Jesus Name

EDIT: I am a pastor's kid and I know what that is like. I feel bad for you and I'll pray for you. The last church my dad was at a very close friend of mine's father stabbed my dad in the back and forcibly removed my dad from the pulpit; which he couldn't legally do. But I forgave him even though that place was one my favorite places in my life. I realize that God has a plan for BOTH our lives. God Bless.

Sometimes we feel so bad that we don't talk to
God. We just try to get help from people. Wrong move. Pray and ask for forgiveness if needed. Trust that your forgiven. Pull scriptures on what God has to say about the things you feel bad for. Also remember that these feeling are not from the Lord but a plan for the enemy to keep you away from your blessings.

I understand that pastors can easily council people, and they can get bogged down themselves with their work. It's easy to get frustrated, but don't get brunt out, remember who your doing this for and whom your serving. As for your friend, if they were truly your friend, they wouldn't have stabbed you in the back. And it's easy to get burdened by this, but don't let it bring you down, or ruin your ministry. I've seen preachers get burned out by the disappointments in life, but just remember this, you don't want to let this one simple thing destroy your walk with God, and 30 years from now, you don't want to look back and be sad. So anyways the point to all this, remember you have one true friend in this world, his name is Jesus Christ, He's here to protect you, bless you, and communicate with you. I suggest you sit back and take a break and try to relax, I know you probably have a lot to do, but take at least 10 or 15 minutes for yourself and relax or do something you enjoy, try to get your mind off of this, it should help.

God loves you very much and if we never had bad days how would we know the true joy of the really good ones. Pull out your Bible and read a few versus and let God know how you feel and things will get better.

Think of something you enjoy? Whenever I'm having a bad day I think of my nieces and nephews because they always make me smile.

Don't worry. It will get better. I've found that a bad day is often rectified with a good night's sleep.

My husband and I are both in the ministry as well. I know this must be hard for you. I know whats it like to be let down by the people you trust the most. Just have faith that God is in control. Just give it to God and let him have it. Rejoice in who you are in Christ. God will mend your heart, if you will just let him have your hurt.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all you ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Though it might be a bad day today know that with God you will always have a friend and all will end in good and in His good and perfect plan.
