Any psychologist or therapist will tell you that when a person belittles you is because that's exactly what the person thinks about himself, he is refecting on you what he knows he is.

I believe fundamentalist Christians to be the worst about this..I think they try to justify their own evil deeds by trying to point out perceived sins of others..and belittle others.
