Well, first of all, how old are you? Depending on your age assuming you're at least 17/18, I'd say go for it. My boyfriend is 3 years older than me and we've been together for four years. As of the moment until I make 21 in November, he is 4 years older than me because he just had a birthday in May. Go for it, good luck!!!

well! it all depends on if u like him as well but i think that u should put the age matters behind u and go for what comes at u b/c 3 years is not a big difference b/c the guy that i am in a relationship is 5 years and 3 days older then me and we really hit it off really good

I agree with the 1-thing-on-his-mind comment. Do you have a sister you could double date with just to have a relaxed fun time at the Pizza Parlor on Friday night. 3 years difference when you're older will be nothing.

your in my position. i have a guy that is like 3 years older than me, really cute, hispanic, and likes me back. he kissed me out of the blue one day and told me we would talk about going out after school was over. i see him this friday and don't know what to do. but for you, tell him thank you and then walk away, don't look back. and if he compliments you again then ask "was there anything else u'd like to say b4 i walk away again?" you sorta play hard to get. then he will come around and try to get to know you and wonder why you aren't all over him like all the other girls. just go with you instinct and everything will fall into place i guess. (that is if you like him back) if not, then tell him to buzz off.

3 years, big deal. My parents are like 9 years difference. Don't ever let the age gap get you ( if your over 18 ). Age is just a number.

it can go both ways it can be a good thing or a bad thing, if he is way older then you, you shouldn't go out with him many older men go for younger girls because they cant get a girl their own age and no one wants to go out with them because there is something wrong with them but it all depends on the the type of person they are

as long as your over 18, go for him. but if your under 21 it can kind of suck cuz he'll be out with his friends at the bars and you can't join him. But if he doesn't drink then it doesn't matter. But sure, go for it, as long as your both legally allowed be together. Besides, older men are so much more fun to be around with.

If you are both over 18, go for it. 3 years difference in age is nothing.
