Me and my friends are planning to die our hair with kool-aid but i'm wondering, we all have dark hair (i'm asian and so is my other friend, the other one is a brunette) so will it show at all or nothing will happen? also is it true that your hair will be sticky after you do it?

I did this for Halloween one year. It would probably show up depending on the color. If you did red or blue you'd definetely be able to tell. It would make your hair sticky but barely at all.

It will tint your hair, at best. I've never known of it to be sticky, unless you use kool-aid with sugar in it! It can be very drying, though. I think you should look into a henna dye. But I bet you do it with kool-aid anyway :)

I have fairly light blonde hair, and dyed it with kool-aid once. The purple lasted 4 days or so, but it wasn't very dark colored. I don't think it will show up very much on black hair.

It wasn't sticky or anything afterwards - don't use sugar!

It will not do anything with koolaid since your hair is dark. I dyed my hair with koolaid, but the bad thing was...it rained..actually when I dyed mine was the day that me and my friends went to kennywood, and from the water rides, the hair dye went all of my face (red), and all over my WHITE shirt. So I wouldn't even try it.

I tryed to dye my hair with koolaide when i had blonde hair and that didnt work. Try a tempary hair dye like Manic Panic or Special Effects. If you want a more permanat color, bleach your hair fist.
