For stew i usually just buy like a beef shank and cut it up into cubes.Sometimes you'll see packages that specifically say stew beef but they usually charge more for them and they don't taste any different in your stew from any other average beef cuts (plus the chunks are huge and still have to be cut down to eating size so those packages don't really cut out any of the preperation work). Most people just buy whatever beef cuts are on sale when making a stew or a soup.

I usually use chuck steak or gravy beef.

The cheaper cuts of meat turn out nice and tender in a stew.

I usually buy the less tender cuts of steak and cube it up such as blade steaks or round steak.
Makes excellent beef stew.

I really like to use London broil steak. Its a great piece of meat and is very tender and the taste is awesome. I use it for my stew, chili, beef Stroganoff, fajitas and most important grilled steak.

Taste so goood!!!!!

Any cut will do, but usually the cooking time will increase the cheaper the meat is.

generally whatever is on sale... stewing is great for the less tender cuts of meat, such as chuck roast, 7-bone roast, briskets... etc.
